I'VE HAD IT! I AM IN MY FORTIES NOW AND NUTS! TO IT! I HAVE MADE MY SECOND PURCHASE AND CANNOT WAIT FOR MY CLOTHING TO COME. I LOVE THE MADE TO ORDER SITE, I AM PLANNING MY WARDROBE LIKE A FASHION DESIGNER, SEEING WHAT MIGHT MIX AND MATCH! OKAY! ENOUGH, I HAVE TO TAKE A VACAY DAY, A DAY TO NOURISH MY SOUL, CALM DOWN, NURTURE MYSELF. WHAT SHALL I DO WITH THIS FULL GLORIOUS DAY? 

OH MY! FINALLY OVER 50, SINGLE AND I HAVE BEEN ASKED OUT ON A DATE FOR DINNER AT A LOVELY RESTAURANT. YES, I LIKE THE GUY!  IN THE OLD DAYS I WOULD MAKE SURE TO BE "NICE" AND LISTEN TO EVERYTHING HE SAYS, NOD IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES ...BUT NOT ANYMORE. I'M GOING TO BE LIKE CATWOMEN AND TAKE MY CHANCES BEING ME! 

I AM GOING TO WEAR SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL BUT COMFORTABLE, AND AS I THREW AWAY ALL MY (PAINFUL) HIGH HEELS IT'S LEATHER MULES AND LINEN I THINK. I HAVE THE SILK BOHO TOP & LINEN WIDE LEG PANTS FROM TIME FOR A CHANGE CLOTHING AND WITH MY NEW EARRINGS & NECKLACE, I AM READY TO BE WHO I REALLY AM; INTELLIGENT, FUN AND PRETTY FLIRTY. J.Martin

EVERY WOMAN AT SOME POINT IN THEIR LIFE DECIDES TO MAKE A CHANGE, SOME CHANGES ARE RADICAL OTHER'S HAVE TO DO WITH INTERNAL CHANGES, SHIFTS AND BALANCES.

OUR LIVES ARE LIVED WAY TOO FAST, WE RECEIVE SO MUCH INFORMATION ACROSS THE WORLD WE CANNOT PROCESS EFFECTIVELY. SOMEHOW, WE HAVE FAR TOO MUCH TO DO AND WE CANNOT ACCOMPLISH IT ALL, SO WE GO INTO POWER MODE TO TRY TO GET EVERYTHING DONE.

BUT WE SIMPLY CAN'T KEEP UP THE PUSH, THE STRESS AND THE LATE NIGHTS; AT SOME POINT IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE AND WE REALIZE WE HAVE TO LET GO AND BE HERE NOW. 

TAKING TIME TO RELAX IS LIVING LIFE IN THE WAY WE HAVE DONE FOR CENTURIES. HOW CAN YOU TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU TODAY? 

I HAVE JUST THROWN OUT 18 YEARS OF "TEACHERS" CLOTHING. THE BUTTON UP SHIRTS TO MY CHIN, THE TAILORED SKIRTS, THE PUMPS. I AM DONE WITH THAT LIFE AND HOW I HAD TO CONFORM TO PRESENT MY SELF. 

Happy Epiphany & MArdi Gras Carnival Begins

I love this photo. I do not know who took it or name of these fabulous men. But it makes me laugh and it's a real fashion statement! Someone knitted or crocheted these pieces for Mardi Gras and they have the machismo to wear them- barefoot no-less! 

I hope you all some creative projects cooking in the olde brain pan, and create the space to have some fun this year. Take a tip from these dandies, dressing up does turn some heads! and it's BOHO!

Christmas a time for honoring Mothers. 

So many of Sunheart's customers are professional women; therapists, Hollywood writers, artists, homemakers, doctors, lawyers and mothers. This is Christmas time and other holy-days are also celebrated. But it is also the time, in my mind, to honor the Mothers! All the mothers in the world who have done the great deed of raising one, two or more children. What a task!

The dedication and devotion to the care and nurturing of little ones, as they grow up, and into their adulthood. The trials and tribulations, the joys and the hurts. All this a mother's heart has to hold. The mother also has her personal joys and sorrows to deal with as she takes care of other's needs. 

Even if you did not have children personally, there are nieces and nephews, cousins or brother and sisters to look after. Or our task in the world can be the child we nurture and grow. 

So whether we are Christian, or Jewish or Muslim, Pagan or Atheist lets take a moment, a breath to thank those Mothers who have helped us in our lives. Our own mothers perhaps, or others in the guise of an elder, or friend who brought us that tender hearted mother love. Thank you all you Divine Mothers in the World & Merry Christmas & Happy Holy-days!
