How do I return an item?

When the 2008 global wobble happened, suddenly 85% of our returns came back worn, wrinkled, smelling of smoke or chemical perfumes and we could not re-sell the clothing. What to do? As a small shop, we had to come up with a positive solution to an on-going issue. So we followed a business model that is creative & works!
We want to support a friendly return policy so we switched to return for exchange only, which encourages our customers to send back unworn items in perfect condition in a timely manner, so they can be re-sold easily, and the customer can purchase what they want for exchange.
Send us an email request for a Return Authorization Number. Send unworn item back, send us tracking number via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Purchase to full amount of original invoice from in-stock Merchandise. We Ship out the exchange item/s.
When return item is received, reviewed & processed you will receive a refund on return item/s less standard 15% restock fee .

When you know your bust, waist & hip measurement and compare with listing you will avoid disappointment when trying on the garments! Put bust, waist & hip measurements on a POST IT! note and stick on the front of your computer. Work with us if you have questions about fit, we have been dressing women for 45+ years.
NO PERFUME, SMOKE & NO WEAR
When trying on clothing please ensure that you are not wearing perfume or deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the garment. Do Not Wear the Garment. Our clothing does not smell, they are pristine when we ship out. If we receive back items that smell, we cannot accept a return for exchange and the item/s will be shipped back at customer's expense.
OUR TOLL FREE NUMBER IS AN ORDER DESK ONLY.
Every thing else is handled via email. Contact Sunheart within 3 days of receipt of goods at email@example.com to request a RA# number and discuss what's up. An unauthorized Return will be refused & shipped back at customer's expense. SunHeart Clothing is not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit. Exchanged items are final sales, no exceptions.

Yes! if the item/s are unworn we will send an invoice for the ship fee, when this is paid it makes it a retail sale. All other specifics apply.
All Returns may be used for exchange on in-stock items only. Buyer Pays for return shipping & insurance. All exchanges are final. Items must be returned within 7 business days from receipt of goods, or return is considered null & void.
Please allow 2-3 weeks from the time you ship your return for us to process your return and issue a refund. We cannot refund shipping & handling charges or return postage.
All returned items must be in their original condition, folded neatly with all hang tags, ribbon and labels attached. You may be charged a pressing fee if the item returned is wrinkled beyond normal packing and shipping standards in addition to the restocking fee. The returned garment(s) must be unworn - free of perfume, pet hair, smoke, make-up, etc. You may be charged a $25-$40 (single item) dry-cleaning fee and 25% restock fee which will be subtracted from your credit. Or any items returned in any condition other than their original sent condition will not be eligible for return, credit, or exchange and will be returned to you.
