This is a stunning find! An Oscar De La Renta Couture Skirt. I live in the land of Hollywood movie stars and one of them must have worn this. I'm just going to describe it to talk about the glory of this skirt. The skirt fabric has horizontal one-quarter inch silk taffeta edged on both sides with gold white and black embroidery creating a ribbon trim. From the waistband down they have used the ribboned lines horizontally and hand-tucked and pleated the waistband so that you see none of the pearl fabric creating a beautuful golden embroidered waistband approximately one inch. It is a glorious skirt.
*It looks like it has never been worn and you will look stunning in it!
Design details: Waistband has one hook and eye closure with one fabric covered snap which closes the twelve inch side opening. Twelve inch tucked overlap. In the bottom seven inch hem of the skirt is a semi-stiff interfacing that creates weight and stiffness to the drape of the skirt. * Its safely wrapped and tucked in a sealed bin.
