The Design
This necklace is about presence. I have hand-selected these ceramic rounds from artisanal outlets for their unique, kiln-fired character. The saturated teal glaze has natural markings, giving the beads a weathered, earthy depth.
The weight of the piece is purposeful weighing almost 7 oz, it has a physical significance that lets you feel its presence throughout the day.
QUAN YIN
(Avalokiteshvara), the Bodhisattva of Compassion, vows to forsake the bliss of Nirvana and remain in the cycle of rebirth (Samsara) until all sentient beings are freed from suffering.
